​It is with great sadness that we extend our heartfelt condolences to Artscape Chief Executive Officer, Marlene Le Roux, for her son Adam (16) who passed away on Friday morning.

Le Roux is one of Cape Town’s most inspiring daughters and has for years been actively involved in community empowerment initiatives, especially in the arts.

I am a great admirer of her work and her love for her son was equally inspiring.

The City of Cape Town sends its deepest sympathy to Le Roux, her family and friends. They are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
