The intention is to provide customer services to communities that are far from municipal facilities, such as housing and subcouncil offices or Free Call lines.

 

The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries. 

To date, the mobile office team has been very effective in resolving long outstanding queries for residents.

 

‘We are bringing the City’s services to Wesfleur to ensure that residents do not spend time and money on transport. Should residents wish to make use of the services on offer we ask that they remember to bring along their ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
