City brings customer services to Atlantis and Hanover Park

26 April 2023

The intention is to provide customer services to communities that are far from municipal facilities, such as housing and subcouncil offices or Free Call lines.

The details are as follows:

  • Tuesday, 2 May 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Wesfleur Municipal Admin Building, 1st Floor, Wesfleur Atlantis
  • Thursday, 4 May 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Blomvlei Community Hall, 111 Blomvlei Road, Hanover Park

The intention is to provide customer services to communities that are far from municipal facilities, such as housing and subcouncil offices or Free Call lines.

The City's Customer Relations Department's mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries. To date, the mobile office team has been very effective in resolving long outstanding queries for residents.

'We are bringing the City's services closer to Hanover Park and Wesfleur to ensure that residents do not spend time and money on transport. This is a special opportunity to resolve any municipal matters you have wanted to address. Should you wish to make use of the services on offer do remember to bring along your ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
