City advises of water supply disruptions in the Kuils River, Fish Hoek and Noordhoek areas
22 May 2019
Kuils River
The work will result in the disruption of the water supply to the greater Kuils River area on Thursday 23 May 2019 from 20:00 until 04:00 on Friday 24 May 2019.
This work forms part of the City’s Water Demand Management Plan and will significantly reduce the occurrence of pipe bursts and subsequent water losses.
Fish Hoek, San Michel and Noordhoek
The work will result in the disruption of the water supply on Thursday 23 May 2019 from 19:00 until 24:00.
Careful consideration has been given to the planning of this work to ensure minimal disruption to the water supply in the affected areas.
The water supply network across the City is divided into reticulation zones, which are smaller and much more manageable sections of the large network, for purposes of maintenance and upgrades. This work forms part of the City’s Water Demand Management Plan and will significantly reduce the occurrence of pipe bursts and the subsequent water losses.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to store water in clean sealed containers for domestic use during this period and to keep their taps closed to prevent water loss and/or damage when the water supply is restored.
The City apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused.
