The water supply has been temporarily shut off to allow the maintenance crew to drain the immediate area of the burst pipe, which will enable them to attend to the repairs safely.

Residents are kindly requested to keep their taps closed during the period of repairs to avoid water loss and/or damage when the water supply is restored.

A water tanker is stationed at the hospital opposite Shoprite to supply water to residents for domestic use.

The City regrets any inconvenience caused but assures residents that the repairs are receiving urgent attention. The supply of good quality drinking water will be restored soonest. We also thank residents for their patience during the disruption
