City advises of water supply disruption in Paardevlei Road, Somerset West

The City’s Water and Sanitation Department will replace three bulk water meters on the water main branching off to the reticulation water supply to Paardevlei Road in Somerset West on Wednesday, 9 December 2020 and Saturday, 12 December 2020 from 20:00 until midnight. Read more below:
The work will result in the disruption of the water supply during this period, and as such has been scheduled to happen at a time when it will be less disruptive.
Residents are kindly requested to store water in clean, sealed containers for domestic use during this period and ensure that their taps are closed to avoid any water loss and/or damage when the supply is restored.
A water tanker will roam the Paardevlei residential area to provide water for domestic use.
The City regrets any inconvenience caused.
