City advises of water supply disruption in Old Faure Road, Blackheath

The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Department will be performing critical maintenance in Old Faure Road which will result in a water supply disruption on Saturday, 19 December 2020 from 20:00 until midnight.
The work involves the installation of a flow meter in Old Faure Road and is expected to take approximately four hours to complete.
The water disruption will affect the Horizon Youth Centre and The Ark, located in Old Faure Road.
Residents are kindly requested to store water in clean, sealed containers for domestic use during this period and ensure that their taps are closed to avoid any water loss or damage when the supply is restored.
A water tanker will roam the area to provide water for domestic use.
The City regrets any inconvenience caused.
