This break in the pipeline has resulted in a water disruption that is affecting the J and H sections as well as surrounding areas in Khayelitsha.  Due to the complexity of the pipe break, the disruption in service is expected to be resolved by tomorrow.

Five water tankers are currently roaming the area to supply water to residents for domestic use.

Residents are kindly requested to keep their taps closed during the period of repairs to avoid water loss and/or damage when the water supply is restored.

The City regrets any inconvenience caused and the matter is receiving our urgent attention to restore the water supply.
