Businesses and residents are advised to store water in clean sealed containers for use during this period.

They should also ensure that their taps are closed during this period to avoid water loss or damage when the water supply is restored.

This work forms part of the City’s Water Demand Management Strategy. It will allow the City to manage water pressure more effectively, thereby reducing the possibility of burst pipes and water wastage.
