City advises of road resurfacing in Atlantis
16 July 2024
The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility Directorate would like to inform the public about roadworks in various areas in Atlantis.'We would like to thank road users in Atlantis for their patience with the roadworks. These maintenance projects form part of the City's efforts to keep Cape Town moving by providing quality roads that are well maintained to prolong the lifespan of our road network. Residents can expect a level of noise over this period and some dust in the area as our teams complete the work in Protea Park; Saxonsea and Beacon Hill as efficiently as possible,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
The planned work entails the resurfacing of the following the roads:
Protea Park:
• Marigold Street
• Phlox Crescent
• Magnolia Street
• Gazonia Street
• Bergroos Street
• Bauhinia Close
Beacon Hill:
• Aventine Lane
• Calton Street
Saxonsea:
• Middenrak Crescent
• Mauritius Street
• Kent Crescent
Additionally, there will be works carried out on the stormwater system and infrastructure in these areas. We thank road users and local residents for their support and cooperation.
