The upgrades could result in periods of low water pressure for the next three Thursdays from 00:00 until 24:00 (for 24hours) while work is under way.

Work is scheduled for Thursdays, 20 and 27 August 2020 as well as Thursday, 3 September 2020. As a precaution, residents in the Duynefontein and rural Melkbosstrand areas are advised to store water in clean sealed containers for domestic use in case this causes an unexpected outage.

Any possible inconvenience that this work may cause is regretted, however it will improve the quality and reliability of water supply in the long term.
