9 December 2020
City advises of planned water supply disruption for parts of the Plattekloof areaThe areas affected are bounded by Plattekloof Road, Silwerboom Avenue and Uys Krige Drive.
The work involves the installation of pressure reducing valves and is expected to take approximately five hours to complete. Pressure reducing valves help by reducing stress on pipes in the area, extending their lifespan.
Efforts have been made to conduct the work at a time that will be less disruptive.
Residents are advised to store water in clean, sealed containers for domestic use during this period, and ensure that their taps are closed to avoid any water loss and/or damage when the supply is restored.
The City regrets any inconvenience caused.
