The Water and Sanitation maintenance team will be replacing a severely leaking 915mm diameter valve on the bulk water pipeline and the work is anticipated to be completed by 06:00 on Sunday, 12 November 2023.   

The necessary precautions have been taken to try and limit the impact as far as possible. 

Residents and businesses in Epping Industria 1, Thornton and Grand West are kindly requested to store enough water upfront for domestic consumption during this period and ensure that their taps are closed to prevent water loss and/or damage when the water supply is restored

The City sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused, but it is imperative that it maintains its water supply infrastructure to benefit its customers.
