Water consumption for the same period decreased to 662 million litres per day

Water consumption for the same period decreased to 662 million litres per day. Consumption the previous week was at 669 million litres per day.

Work on the New Water Programme continues as far as possible under lockdown conditions. Despite COVID-19 challenges, the City is doing its utmost to ensure adherence to commitments set out in the City’s Water Strategy – Our Shared Water Future. It is important that we do not lose sight of improving water security as a result of this shock we are now experiencing.
