Business Hub opens opportunities

​Staff at the Helpdesk have assisted over 1 000 SMMEs and entrepreneurs during the past financial year.

The Executive Mayor, Alderman Dan Plato, will officiate at the ribbon-cutting ceremony and will deliver the keynote address.

In addition, three business owners who have benefitted from the support of the Business Hub Helpdesk will be in attendance to share their experiences.

The Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Opportunities and Asset Management, Alderman James Vos, will in his address, touch on the success of the Business Hub Helpdesk to date. The Business Hub is now the new home of the Enterprise and Investment Department’s Business Support Unit who have been doing stellar work to advance the City’s economic agenda. The initiative is to further the City’s one-stop-shop approach, with various directorates available under one roof.
