Pooke se Bos beneficiaries receive title deeds

The residents of Pooke se Bos were overjoyed as they received their title deeds from the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Human Settlements, Councillor Carl Pophaim and officials in Human Settlements in May 2024. The City continues to empower qualifying residents with the title deeds to their homes in areas across the metro. 

'The City is building on the success of our Festive Deeds challenge in 2023, where we delivered more than 1 000 title deeds to beneficiaries across the city. Our teams are back on the ground and we are reaching out to residents who are eligible to receive their title deeds. We are bringing title deeds to your doorstep.

'From Hanover Park to Woodlands to Pooke se Bos, and many other areas, we are making it our mission to provide dignity through homeownership.

'The Pooke se Bos infill housing project is one of our very special city projects as it benefits residents from the neighbouring informal settlement. It was therefore an honour for us to hand over deeds at the Pooke se Bos housing project and to deliver title deeds to the project's beneficiaries.

'This is what delivery is about and we will be reaching out to more eligible beneficiaries to hand over their deeds. Our title deeds mission continues and we are urging residents to reach out to us for more information,' said Councillor Carl Pophaim.
