City’s Mobile Office coming to Hangberg and Langa<p>​The details of the visit are as follows:<br></p><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Thursday, 20 June 2024, from 09:00 to 14:00 at the Hangberg Multipurpose Centre, Karbonkel Road, Hout Bay Harbour </div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Friday, 21 June 2024, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Zone 25 Community Hall, Winnie Mandela Street, Langa</div><div><br></div><div>The departments that will be present at the Hangberg Multipurpose Centre in Hout Bay are:</div><div><br></div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Human Resources for enquiries about bursaries, internships and apprenticeships</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Disaster Risk Management to get you more prepared for winter</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Finance for all enquiries about municipal accounts and to apply for Indigent Support</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Customer Relations to assist you to log and follow up on service related requests</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Safety and Security for information about traffic and law enforcement services</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>Water & Sanitation, Electricity and Solid Waste to assist you with general enquiries</div><div>•<span style="white-space:pre;"> </span>EPWP and jobseekers to give unemployed youth an opportunity to register - or update their details on the jobseekers database.</div><div><br></div><div>For Langa, the City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries. To date, the mobile office team has been very effective in resolving long outstanding queries for residents.</div><div><br></div><div>‘Taking City’s services to the communities of Hangberg and Langa is the City’s way of showing that we are committed to bringing services to residents and making local government more accessible to all.
