Bellville Integrated Waste Management Facility

<p>Where the distance to a landfill, for internal and external refuse collection service providers, is too far to travel, they may make use of a transfer station or an Integrated Waste Management Facility to offload waste. The waste is then compacted into containers and transferred via rail or road to a landfill site.</p><p>Bellville Integrated Waste Management facility has a drop-off facility, for the disposal of both general and <a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/Family%20and%20home/Safety-in-the-home/Environmental-health-in-the-home/hazardous-waste">household hazardous waste</a>. </p><p>All general waste is accepted at the public drop-off facility on site.
