These were well-attended.</p><p>‘The purpose of this workshop is to equip our community-based suppliers to be tender-ready, so they can be considered for business opportunities. We trust that this initiative will make a positive contribution to job creation and assist small emerging businesses to develop and gain experience so that they are equipped on all levels. They will then also be able to tender for larger projects one day,’ said Alderman Twigg. <br></p> <figure class="subtopic-fullsize-img"> <img class="responsive" src="http://resource.capetown.gov.za/cityassets/Media%20Centre/small%20business2.jpg" alt="" style="width:800px;" /> </figure><table width="100%" class="ms-rteTable-default" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:50%;"><strong>Date</strong></td><td class="ms-rteTable-default" style="width:50%;"><strong>Venue</strong></td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default"><p>27 February 2020</p></td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Durbanville Council Chambers, 38 Oxford Street, Durbanville</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">4 March 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Nomzamo Community Hall, Michael Street, Nomzamo/Strand</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">5 March 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Athlone Civic Centre</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">6 March 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Somerset West Town Hall, 11 Main Road, Somerset</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">9 and 10 March 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Hillcrest Hall, Blue downs Avenue, Blue downs</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">11 March 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Delft Library Hall</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">10 March 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Ottery Multi-purpose Hall</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">16 March 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Mfuleni Community Hall, Skool Street, Mfuleni</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">14 April 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Ikwezi Hall, Gugulethu</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">21 April 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Tafelsig Community Hall Kilimanjaro Road,</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">22 April 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Rylands Community Hall</td></tr><tr><td class="ms-rteTable-default">24 April 2020</td><td class="ms-rteTable-default">Eastridge Community Hall</td></tr></tbody></table></span><p><span></span><span></span></p><p><strong>For more information about the workshops and how to register, please contact the respective Subcouncil via the following link: </strong><br><a href="http://www.capetown.gov.za/Family%20and%20home/meet-the-city/city-council/subcouncils/subcouncil-managers" target="_blank"><strong>http://www.capetown.gov.za/Family%20and%20home/meet-the-city/city-council/subcouncils/subcouncil-managers</strong></a></p><p><br><strong>End</strong></p>2020-02-20T22:00:00ZGP0|#1d539e44-7c8c-4646-887d-386dc1d95d70;L0|#01d539e44-7c8c-4646-887d-386dc1d95d70|City news;GTSet|#62efe227-07aa-45e7-944c-ceebacca891dGP0|#f3283404-6bd4-4066-a7f6-bd8a0d5b7463;L0|#0f3283404-6bd4-4066-a7f6-bd8a0d5b7463|tender;GTSet|#2e3de6c1-9951-4747-8f53-470629a399bb;GP0|#79fce089-e73f-46d8-934a-b920e359323f;L0|#079fce089-e73f-46d8-934a-b920e359323f|small business;GP0|#3e00c2c7-fedf-442d-8068-e856bb6690e2;L0|#03e00c2c7-fedf-442d-8068-e856bb6690e2|Skills1
