Cape Town Mayor Dan Plato sweeps up in Khayelitsha<span> <p>‘We will continue our efforts to clean communities and attempt to change behaviour relating to illegal dumping. Clean communities inspire pride and create spaces for recreation, with the campaign intended to assist the work done by the City’s Solid Waste Department. Vehicles used in illegal dumping can be confiscated and a release fee of nearly R16 000 will be charged, over-and-above the fines issued for dumping.
