Wynberg Park
Wynberg Park, where the spring of the Krakeelwater River begins, is visited throughout the year for its conifer garden and attractive display of hydrangeas in the summer months. The park is ideal for picnics and braais. There is also a duck pond and children’s playground. The City's Come and Play teams offer extreme sports demonstrations, games, stage activities and fun activities for smaller children. Summer concerts are held here annually.

Find out more about the history of Wynberg Park and other district parks:
A History of Cape Town's District Parks Booklet
GP0|#2392bffa-ec48-4d14-a19a-8a266247fac3;L0|#02392bffa-ec48-4d14-a19a-8a266247fac3|Cycling and biking;GTSet|#153637b8-411d-4bf7-8214-7237f5d775f0;GP0|#1c6a3718-7ebe-41f6-8815-ef729ef7dbbc;L0|#01c6a3718-7ebe-41f6-8815-ef729ef7dbbc|Leisure and relaxation;GP0|#add4c56f-747e-433a-986a-33c22addc84a;L0|#0add4c56f-747e-433a-986a-33c22addc84a|Family entertainment;GP0|#f9aed8f1-9d9c-4f45-90f7-4b8ff8598113;L0|#0f9aed8f1-9d9c-4f45-90f7-4b8ff8598113|Picnics and braaing;GP0|#9c8c0075-e925-4024-a33f-8df78b8a4f92;L0|#09c8c0075-e925-4024-a33f-8df78b8a4f92|Dog walking;GP0|#8c6dc6f7-988e-4d11-b49b-c6d597735555;L0|#08c6dc6f7-988e-4d11-b49b-c6d597735555|Sport and exercise
Please see the Recreation and Parks Tariffs Booklet in the document download section below for more information about bookings and tariffs.

Wynberg Park Facility Management Office

Telephone:
 021 444 8849

Fax:
086 576 1243

26 hectares
GP0|#36fb11f6-3340-4633-8a08-816df4d3bfb3;L0|#036fb11f6-3340-4633-8a08-816df4d3bfb3|Water features;GTSet|#4be4596d-cdfe-41f7-a569-9d9c4e16c716;GP0|#a869cc14-4edf-4bdb-9cca-8684b722178f;L0|#0a869cc14-4edf-4bdb-9cca-8684b722178f|Garden;GP0|#5e10a420-e5a5-4100-b9b9-d0b7105ce184;L0|#05e10a420-e5a5-4100-b9b9-d0b7105ce184|Play area and equipment;GP0|#6bcb5eec-2ab6-47ab-b07a-ea31c1701a27;L0|#06bcb5eec-2ab6-47ab-b07a-ea31c1701a27|Grassed areas;GP0|#9c77c8ee-e3a5-4614-938b-ab24d30ca4eb;L0|#09c77c8ee-e3a5-4614-938b-ab24d30ca4eb|Public toilets;GP0|#7ef8afb9-d736-4755-b3d1-06edd79fffdf;L0|#07ef8afb9-d736-4755-b3d1-06edd79fffdf|Footpath and trails;GP0|#6fb82646-b411-48e6-b0d4-52898add42c8;L0|#06fb82646-b411-48e6-b0d4-52898add42c8|Parking;GP0|#0d6ec212-bddb-480a-9ab5-b6392f736bc8;L0|#00d6ec212-bddb-480a-9ab5-b6392f736bc8|Animals allowed;GP0|#574574e7-fe53-4934-8a82-d5f6689e228c;L0|#0574574e7-fe53-4934-8a82-d5f6689e228c|Picnic and braai areas

Cnr Klaassens and Trovato Link Road, Wynberg
07:00 - 18:00
