Resolution detail

Subcouncil 6 SUPPORTED and NOTED the report and recommended to the Director Property Management that Erven 4498 and 4520 Bellville, situated at John X Merriman Street, Oakdale, in extent 498 and 496 m² respectively and as
indicated as ABCD on plan 130009338v1 attached as Annexure A to the report, be
reserved for the Operation Coordination branch within the Law Enforcement
Department, subject to the following conditions:
 
a) The subject property shall be utilised for the purpose of operational use
     by the Law Enforcement Department only;
 
b) The Law Enforcement Department takes responsibility for the required
     land use processes, as well as compliance with legislation related to the
     utilization of the properties and buildings;
 
c)   That cognisance be taken of the internal branch comments listed under
     paragraph 9 below, where applicable;
 
d) The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and
     maintenance of the land and structures erected thereon, including
     maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is
     applicable; and
 
e) That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Law
          Enforcement Department.
