RESOLVED that,
the application for extension of liquor licence trading hours received from reference no WCP/004894 TOPS KALK BAY for the extension of liquor trading hours be REFUSED for:
-
Monday to Saturday from 18:00 to 20:00, and
-
Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00 for off-consumption purposes.
Reasons for refusal are stipulated below:
The granting of the application prejudices-
-
the close proximity of the liquor store to the night shelter;
-
the anti-social and criminal element that occurred under the railway arches when under the influence of alcohol.
