MRA 18SUB7/1/2019 7.2 The Chairperson, Cllr Shanen Rossouw advised that the memorandum was handed to Ms Wilma Jethro: Vrygrond the content of the memorandum dealt with regarding the number of work opportunities at Capricorn Park for the Vrygrond community. Cllr Gerry Gordon, asked that the item be removed from the list of MRA’s seeing that a number of people in Vrygrond and Capricorn were considered for EPWP employment. RESOLVED That Subcouncil 18 NOTES the comments made on this matter and that the item be removed from the MRA schedule. 18SUB6/11/2018 6.2 The Subcouncil Manager, Mr F Monk stated that the Vrygrond community leaders submitted a memorandum of concerns and that he will follow-up, to ascertain who accepted the memorandum. RESOLVED That the Subcouncil Manager, Mr F Monk, follow-up who accepted the memorandum of concerns from the Vrygrond community leaders. ACTION : MR F MONK 18SUB6/10/2018 6.2 The Subcouncil Manager, Mr F Monk stated that the Vrygrond community leaders submitted a memorandum of concerns. Cllr G Gordon, stated that a religious institution’s held a march and submitted a memorandum. In response, the Subcouncil Manager, Mr F Monk stated that he will follow-up, to ascertain who accepted the memorandum. RESOLVED That the Subcouncil Manager, Mr F Monk, follow-up who accepted the memorandum of concerns from the Vrygrond community leaders. ACTION : MR F MONK 18SUB6/9/2018 6.2 The Subcouncil Manager, Mr F Monk stated that Cllr E Andrews : Mayor’s Representative : Area South will meet with the Vrygrond Leadership on 21 September 2018 to address service delivery matters. RESOLVED That Subcouncil 18 NOTES the comments made in the matter. ACTION : CLLR E ANDREWS AND MR MONK : ABSD : SOUTH 18SUB6/8/2018 6.2 Mr F Monk advised that he had received no further feedback. 18SUB6/6/2018 6.2 Cllr G Gordon stated that a comprehensive report be compiled reflecting the status of the Informal Settlements in the ward. The Subcouncil Manager, Mr F Monk responded that he will arrange a meeting to discuss challenges relating to Informal Settlements in Subcouncil 18. RESOLVED That the Subcouncil Manager,Mr F Monk arrange a meeting with the relevant departments to address challenges relating to Informal Settlement in Subcouncil 18. ACTION : Mr F Monk 18SUB6/5/2018 6.2 Members proposed that the item remain on the MRA schedule. NOTED
