After discussion, the panel agreed that this application be REFERRED BACK. With input from the applicant, the Departmental report needs to be updated to provide greater clarity to the panel with respect to:
1. The applicant’s specific development intentions, particularly related to micro farming activities on the proposed smallholdings
2. What ‘lifestyle living’ is envisaged
3. The reasons why the Department of Agriculture changed their initial position that subdivision will detract from the area’s agricultural potential
4. Agricultural and Rural building lines applicable
5. Whether or not the development proposal is consistent with MSDF Policies 12 and 21
