UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The rezoning of erven 6156 and 12202 Milnerton from Single Residential Zoning 1: Conventional Housing to General Residential Zoning 2 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The consolidation of erven 6156 and 12202, Milnerton BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
c. The permanent departures as listed in Annexure A for erven 6156 12202, Milnerton BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
d. The site development plan for erven 6156 and 12202, Milnerton BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Amend Annexure A:
2.19 Implementation of the Landscape plan and Landscape Rehabilitation Plan shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Dir: DM within the first winter rainfall cycle following the issuing of the occupancy certificate. However, if an alternative water source is available for irrigation purposes, the landscaping shall be implemented prior to the first winter rainfall cycle following the issuing of the occupancy certificate. An on-site meeting must be arranged for this purpose with the Environmental and Heritage Management Branch on completion of such landscaping.
