The Subcouncil Chairperson introduced the report and said that the report is for noting. He further asked Cllr Ngcombolo if he has any input with regard to the report. Cllr Ngcombolo said that the community at large is not happy with the situation at the cemetery. A portion of the community that have their family members buried at the cemetery. He said that there is no fencing and it is a sacred place and need to be kept clean and respected. Some of the tombstones are broken and kids are playing soccer at the cemetery. Mr. Cedras said that the report was tabled last month at Subcouncil 13 and it is for information and they wanted Subcouncil 14 to be updated as well. Cllr Ngcombolo asked when the department is going to start with the repairs of the cemetery. Mr. Cedras said that they are still busy with the repairs as per the report. They do have a security during the day. Cllr Adams said that as the Subcouncil a report should also write a report to the department to make sure that the fencing gets done at the cemetery. Cllr Ngcombolo moved for noting of the report seconded by Cllr Adams. There was unanimous agreement with the resolution. .
