UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
The application for rezoning of Erf 651 Khayelitsha, as set out in Annexure A BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend reason 7.1.2 as follows:
7.1.2 The proposal is broadly consistent with relevant Council Policies as elaborated in Section 6.2.3 of the report
Annexure A
Amend condition 2.1 as follows:
2.1 That a Site Development Plan (SDP) be submitted for approval by the duly delegated authority, prior to building plan submission. In the SDP, special consideration must be given to the interface with the adjoining residential properties
Add a new heading ‘General’ with the following text
2.8 General:
That any installation, relocation and/or upgrade of any engineering shall be at the cost of the owner/developer
