RESOLVED that:
The application in terms of Section 42(b) to permit the height of the garage to be 4.85m in lieu of 3.5m from base level to top of roof within the north-eastern common boundary on Erf 9620, Strand, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add the following reason:
7.1.6 The garage is situated on the south western part of the objectors’ property so overshadowing will be minimal
