UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for consent for shops and offices in a General Industrial 2 zone for Erf 17978-Re Cape Town, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A, in accordance with the Site Development Plan in Annexure G.

b. The application for permanent departures for Erf 17978-Re Cape Town as set out in Annexure A, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A, in accordance with the Site Development Plan in Annexure G.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add the following reasons:

7.1.13 The proposed mixed use development presents a spatial logic and appropriate and balanced land use management response to the context in which the subject property is located

7.1.14 There are justifiable site specific circumstances related to this specific location which merits approval for the mixed use development proposal
