Mr F Monk reported that the item has been removed from Matters Outstanding and placed back on the MRA schedule.
 
18SUB26/11/2022:
 
MOTION OF EXIGENCY: ESTABLISHMENT OF ZEEKOEVLEI CATCHMENT FORUM (DATED 17 NOVEMBER 2022)
 
Mr F Monk reported that feedback has been received which reflects on the agenda and a meeting request has been sent out to the Cllrs for 9 April 2024.
 
The Chairperson wanted know whether the Cllrs has submitted names to the Subcouncil regarding the email that was sent requesting for a list of stakeholders to form part of the establishment of Zeekoevlei Catchment Forum. 
 
Mr Monk responded that he has not received any names yet and the Chairperson in turn appealed to the Cllrs to submit names of organisations to the Subcouncil Manager.

18SUB15/5/2023:
 
RECREATION & PARKS: STATUS REPORT ON OPERATIONAL CAPACITY OF SWIMMING POOLS AND SPRAY PARK – 2023/24 – RETREAT SWIMMING POOL
 
Mr F Monk reported that feedback was received from Eugene Adams dated 13 March 2024 which is reflected on page 46 of the agenda and that the project is on track as per the plan. 
 
The department had engagement with the contractors on 13 March 2024 regarding the heating system and baby pool design and construction methodology. 
                                
The vendor is currently packaging all the plans and drawings for final review. Timelines will be communicated in due course when phase 1-B of the project will commence, the facility will be closed during the construction period, and this will be communicated to the local swimming fraternity.
