Resolution detail

It is recommended that a portion of erf 3351 Gordon’s Bay situated at corner of School Street and Grens Road, Gordon’s Bay, in extent ±10 596 m² and as indicated as ABCDEFGHJ on Plan 130010255 attached as Annexure “A”, be reserved for the Environmental Management Department (Biodiversity Management branch), subject to the following conditions:
a) The subject property shall be utilised for the purpose of more accommodation for the Steenbras Nature Reserve office complex only;
b) The Environmental Management Department (Biodiversity Management branch) takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any related legislation;
c) The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and any structure to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;
d) That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Environmental Management Department (Biodiversity Management branch);
e) That the subject property be rezoned for open space purposes.
