RESERVATION OF ERF ERVEN 14068, 14101 AND 14089 KRAAIFONTEIN: HUMAN SETTLEMENTS DIRECTORATE (INFORMAL SETTLEMENTS DEPARTMENT)
Pieter Strumpher was present for the item.
It is recommended that Erven 14068, 14101 and 14089 Kraaifontein situated at Pieterson Road, Wallacedene, Kraaifontein in extent of 6674 m² and as indicated as ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZA’B’C’D’E’F’G’H’J’K’L’M’N’P’Q’R’S’T’ on plan 130010205 attached as Annexure A, be reserved for the Informal Settlements Department within the Human Settlements Directorate, subject to the following conditions:

The subject property shall be utilized for the purpose of establishing a formal housing development;

The Informal Settlements Department takes responsibility for any required land use processes, as well as compliance with legislation applicable to the utilisation of the property;

That cognisance be taken of the internal branch comments listed under paragraph 9 below;

The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management of the land and structures erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable; and
-
That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Informal Settlements Department.
