The Subcouncil APPROVES the following Ward Allocations 2023/24: Project Scope Change:
Subcouncil 11 propose the following for Ward 59: CPX.0035292-F1, Installation of approved traffic calming measures in Brooke Street - Claremont, 1 Raised Pedestrian Crossing, White Road & Kelvin Road - Rondebosch, 1 Raised Intersection, has a savings of R80 000 as a result of new tender tariffs.
The line department requested additional traffic calming measures because of savings on the approved project, i.e. with the savings of R80 000 of R165 000, to also construct two speed humps and a raised pedestrian crossing in Alma Road.
