Resolution detail

It is recommended that Portions of Remainder Erf 9042, Remainder Erf 22391, Erven 11506, 36051 and 30187 Goodwood, bounded by- Halt Road, Landros Avenue and Southern Cross Street, Elsies River in extent of 2, 12 ha and as indicated as ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZa’b’c’d’e’f’ on plan 130009934 attached as Annexure A, be reserved for the Recreation and Parks Department within the Community Services and Health Directorate, subject to the following conditions:
 
It is recommended that Portions of Remainder Erf 9042, Remainder Erf 22391, Erven 11506, 36051 and 30187 Goodwood, bounded by- Halt Road, Landros Avenue and Southern Cross Street, Elsies River in extent of 2, 12 ha and as indicated as ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRSTUVWXYZa’b’c’d’e’f’ on plan 130009934 attached as Annexure A, be reserved for the Recreation and Parks Department within the Community Services and Health Directorate, subject to the following conditions:
 

1. The subject property shall be utilised by the Recreation and Parks Department as a sport and recreational precinct;

2. The Recreation and Park Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with legislation related to the utilization of the property;

3. That cognisance be taken of the internal branch comments listed under paragraph 9 below, as applicable;

4. The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management of the land and structures erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable; and

5. That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Recreation and Park Department.
