Resolution detail

RESOLVED that having considered the City of Cape Town Traffic Calming Policy and the recommendation from Transport Planning & Network Management Department;

     a) Bridle Road do have a potential to be considered compliant with the Traffic
         Calming Policy Directives Section 4(a) and Section 4(b).
 
     b)  Therefore, ward councillor should advise further since the public open space,
           falls within the Ward Councilor’s budget in line with Section 4 (a) and Section 4(b) of traffic calming policy directives.
 
    c)  Ward councillor must motivate such traffic calming measures by:
            I. Demonstrating a proven crash history on the road in question or by
               identifying a recent and very serious incident on the road that
               demands immediate intervention and which can reasonably be
               prevented by traffic calming measures.
