Resolution detail

It is Recommended that a Portion of Erf 18053 Wesfleur, situated at Charel Uys Drive, Atlantis, in extent 351 287 m² and as indicated as ABCDEFGHJKLMNPQRS on plan 130009541v1 attached as Annexure A, be reserved for the Planning Branch within the Informal Settlements Department, subject to the following conditions:
 

1. The subject property shall be utilised for relocation of current informal settlements and BNG housing, facilitated by the Informal Settlement Department;

2. The Informal Settlement Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with legislation related to the utilization of the property;

3. That cognisance be taken of the comprehensive internal branch comments listed under paragraph 9 below;

4. The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and structures erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable; and

5. That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Informal Settlement Department.
