Subcouncil 15

Resolution detail

It was RESOLVED that subcouncil 15 recommend that Erf 1484  Langa situated at King Langalibalele Drive, Langa, in extent 312m² and as indicated as ABCDEF on Plan 130009639 attached as annexure a to the report , be reserved for the Area Economic Development North Branch, subject to the following conditions:
 

1. The subject property shall be utilised for the purpose of developing informal trading sites only;

2. The Area Economic Development North Branch takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any related legislation;

3. The said Branch accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and any structure to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;

4. That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Area Economic Development North Branch (11090081);

5. The Property Management Department investigate the validity of the lease agreement and report back to the subcouncil in respect thereof.
