Resolution detail

It was RESOLVED that the lease of City land, being portion of  remainder Erf 23300 Cape Town situated off Royal Road, Maitland, Cape Town, shown hatched and lettered ABCD & EFGH on the plan 130009041 attached as annexure A, to the report, in extent  approximately 262m² & 152m² respectively, to Norway Parks Football Club or their successors in title, be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions, that:
 

1.  A tariff rental of R1 195.00 per annum including VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable. Rates not applicable;

2. The lease will endure for a period of 10 (ten) years;

3. The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

4. The property be used for sporting purposes (clubhouse and changing rooms) only;

5. Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of his/her delegated authority;

6. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

7. No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the  property.
