RESOLVED that it be NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from IN RESIDENCE BY PIETER BRUNDYN was considered in terms of sub-delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:
SubCouncil 16 recommends that the application for a Consumption OFF Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA22060011, for the business In Residence By Pieter Brundyn ,NOT BE SUPPORTED
Subcouncil cannot support this application for the following reasons

The applicant intends to deliver concierge style deliveries of alcohol to homes, villas and guesthouses, along the Atlantic Seaboard.

There are no checks in place to ensure no ‘Under Age’ orders would be placed on the web platform.
