RESOLVED that it be NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from SECRET PASSAGES was considered in terms of sub-delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:

SubCouncil 16 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON and OFF Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA22050024, for the business Secret Passages Liquor NOT BE SUPPORTED

Subcouncil does not support this application for the following reasons:

The application mentions Audio Booth and Pool Tables-no valid business Licence: Entertainment or WCGB permit is available.
The venue is very near schools and a residential are mostly religious (Islamic) and must be taken into consideration.
The residents association and CPF have objected to this application
The Woodstock SAPS DLO is not supporting this application
