That it be NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from DANTES NIGHT LOUNGE was considered in terms of sub-delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:

Subcouncil 06 recommended that the application for a Consumption ON Premises
Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA22060025, for the business Dantes Night Lounge
NOT BE SUPPORTED for the following reasons:

·     The property is zone General Industrial 1 and cannot be used for the intended
      entertainment purposes (for which a liquor licence is required) without an
      application for-/approval of a consent use.
·     Non - compliant with fire regulations.                      .
