Subcouncil 6 supported and noted the report and recommended to the Director Property Management that a Portion of Remainder Erf 2040 Parow, located in Bertie Genade Street, Parow, in extent 4 740 m² and as indicated as ABCDEF on the plan 130008613 attached as Annexure “A” of the report, be reserved for the Solid Waste Management Department, subject to the following conditions:
a) The subject property shall be utilised as a solid waste management facility.
b) The Solid Waste Management Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any other related legislation;
c) That cognizance be taken of the internal branch comments and conditions listed in Paragraph 8 below, and where applicable, such conditions be complied with;
d) The said Department accepts full accountability for the management of the land and any structures to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;
e) That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Solid Waste Management Department.
f) That the former reservation for a solid waste drop-off facility on Erf 20463 Parow, approved and granted to the Solid Waste Management Department on 17 April 2012, be rescinded. . |
