Subcouncil 6 supported and noted the report and recommended to the Director Property Management that Erven 5802 and 5804 Bellville, situated at Avondale
Street, Oakdale, in extent 579 m² and 595 m² respectively and as indicated
as ABCDE on Plan 130008844v1 attached as Annexure “A” of the report, be reserved for the Operational Coordination branch within the Law Enforcement Department, subject to the following conditions:
a) The subject properties shall be utilised for the purpose of operational use
by the Law Enforcement department only;
b) The Law Enforcement Department takes responsibility for the required
land use processes, as well as compliance with legislation related to the
utilization of the properties and buildings;
c) The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and
maintenance of the land and the structures erected thereon, including
maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is
applicable;
d) That all costs related to the above be provided for by the Operational
Coordination branch of the Law Enforcement Department. |
