Resolution detail

That Subcouncil 18 RECOMMENDS that the lease of portion of City land, being a portion of Erf 1001 Ottery 36 Tristania Avenue, Ottery, hatched and lettered ABCD on the sketch 130003063 marked Annexure A ,in extent approximately ±98 m²,to Atlas Tower Pty Ltd, BE APPROVED subject to inter alia the following conditions, that:
 

1. A City approved rental of R13 488,43 per month excluding VAT where applicable be payable;
    
2. The lease will endure for a period of ten years, plus an option to renew, subject at any time to two months’ notice of termination;
    
3. The rental will escalate at 8% per annum;
    
4. The property be used for telecommunication infrastructure purposes only; 
5. Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;
    
6. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
    
7. No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property;
    
8. The applicant’s debt profile has been verified and it is not in arrears.
