It be NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from JAYSHALJAIMINESHA PTY LTD C/O FAMOUS BEAN CAFE was considered in terms of sub delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:
Subcouncil 03 recommends that the application for a Consumption ON and OFF Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA21050035, for the business Jayshaljaiminesha PTY LTD C/O Famous Bean Cafe NOT BE SUPPORTED for the following reasons:

The erf Re-23433, Parow is zoned Local Business 1, offices only.

This property does not have the rights to allow conduct of a restaurant with sale of alcohol from the property.

The zoning of the property also does not allow for a restaurant / café as a consent use.

The proposed liquor licence application can therefore not be supported.
