It be NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from DRAAIBOEK WINES was considered in terms of sub delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:
SubCouncil 03 recommends that the application for a Micro Manufacturer Off and On Consumption Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA21050034, for the business Draaiboek Wines NOT BE SUPPORTED for the following reasons:

The application cannot be supported due to the on-consumption section of the liquor licence application.

It is in a residential area, next to a school and not zoned appropiately.

Off Consumption would mean that they can sell off the premises.

The church is about 100 metres from the property.
