Resolution detail

RESOLVED to SUPPORT:

1. That following on Subcouncil decision 07SUB03/05/21SM, the following two projects BE COMBINED into one project :

1. Beautification of the Oxford Street POS: R 60 000 (scope to focus on the areas between the newly landscaped flower beds)
2. Replacement of pot plants Wellington Road: R 15 000 (to replace plants stolen from pots previously purchased from ward allocation funding, such plants to be of a nature that could not be easily removed)

2. That the combined project BE REGISTERED as : HORTICULTURAL MAINTENANCE WARD 112 MURP AREA R 75 000, the scope to focus on the replacement of grass on Oxford Street POS with the necessary preparation of the soil and adequate fertilisation  and replacement of the pot plants in Wellington Street that had been stolen a few years ago with suitable new plants which could not easily be removed.
3. That the above amendment to the Subcouncil operational projects list for 2021/22  BE SUBMITTED to the Subcouncil at its meeting on 23 July for noting.
