Mr Daniels explained that Pastor Mbelwa is with the Mayors Religious Programme. She has asked for an opportunity to explain the programme to the Subcouncil.

Pastor Mbelwa said she is from EFS; they were elected two years ago. She indicated that she is interested in working at Nyanga, Crossroads and Philippi and Lower. She added that they have done COVID 19 religious programme before Easter holiday and it went successfully. She would like to thank the leadership of Nanga for making it a success. They are rolling out the crime prevention programme in Hanover park for 15 days. She indicated that they are currently in day 4 of the event.

Cllr Nyingwa said that he is aware of Pastor Mbelwa as the religious event took place in Zolani Centre before Easter.

Cllr Yozi wanted to find out if for the Nyanga / Crossroads workshops the pastor is only inviting Cllr Nyingwa and Cllr Bolitye.

Pastor Mbelwa indicated that the workshop she is referring to has already happened, Cllr Bolitye was present. She added that they are still organizing a workshop for Nyanga, now it is currently at Hanover park, she we make the Subcouncil aware of the date for Nyanga.

Cllr Nyingwa noted the report seconded by Cllr Jacobs.

There was unanimous agreement with the resolution.
