Resolution detail

Subcouncil 20 supports the recommendation that the granting of rights of City land, being Erf 65337 Cape Town, situated at Shop 5A, SS Haven House, 2 Mains Avenue, Kenilworth, in extent approximately 5 m², to Vida e Caffe – Kenilworth, or its successors in-title, be approved subject to inter alia the following Conditions:
 

1. At a market rental as proposed by the Valuations Branch (see Annexure C), with a 6% escalation per annum from date of valuation i.e as from 2020/08/01.

2. The lease will endure for a period of 3 years.

3. The properties will be used for tables and chairs purposes only.

4. Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority.

5. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements.

6. No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property.

7. All outstanding accounts with the City of Cape Town must be settled.

8. The leased area to be used for seating (tables and chairs) by patrons of the establishment and positioned according to the picture contained in Annexure C.
